Just looking to find out if this is normal or something is wrong with them. When those go off they are actually off and do not provide this feedback. This is my first electronic headset that has comms and maybe that’s so comms can still come through? That’s the only thing that I can think of but want to make sure that everyone’s acts similar. If you are wearing them while they are “off” and unscrew a battery cap the white noise stops and it’s noticeably quieter. It sounds almost like it’s on an extremely low volume but it’s not because it gives you the 3 beeps to let you know that you did turn it off when holding both of the buttons. When I turn the headset off there is still some white noise/ feedback that can be heard and it appears the headset is not fully turning off. Because of these benefits this is the variant we choose to stock.Posting here because most of us with NV also have the money or already own AMPS. Non NFMI enabled units cannot be converted later.
